Maja Ozmec-Ban, PhD

is a senior assistant at the Faculty of Transport and Traffic Sciences, University of Zagreb. Her scientific and professional focus lies in air transport demand forecasting and the application of advanced technologies in airline business operations. She earned her PhD with a thesis titled " Temporal Causal Model for Passenger Air Traffic Recovery During Post-recession Periods" exploring the recovery dynamics of air transport following economic downturns. Dr. Ozmec-Ban teaches at both undergraduate and graduate levels, covering topics such as airline business models, flight schedule and route planning, fleet selection, and air transport management. She is also engaged in initiatives aimed at modernizing higher education and promoting STEM among younger audiences.
